Copilot is a new feature from Microsoft that leverages the power of AI to help you with various tasks and questions. Copilot is currently available for Microsoft 365 users who sign in with their Microsoft account or Entra ID account. You can access Copilot from any Microsoft 365 app, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and more. You can also use Copilot from your browser, either Microsoft Edge or Chrome, on Windows and Mac OS. Copilot is expected to be released with the Windows 11 23H2 update, which will enable you to use Copilot from your desktop, taskbar, or Start menu.
Copilot is powered by the latest in large language models and data from the Microsoft Graph. It uses the same language as ChatGPT, an open-source AI project from OpenAI, which Microsoft is a major investor in. Copilot can answer similar questions as ChatGPT, as well as solve complex tasks like math problems, and even create images using Bing’s Image Creator, all from the same platform.
