It is a fact that the best way to improve your PC’s performance is to reinstall. There is no registry cleaner or any other voodoo magic that will do what a reinstall will do. This is especially true when you test and experiment with software as I do. There is no way around it, a reinstall is needed. This is true for many of you who are afraid of doing this. It seems difficult but it is the only way to get rid of the corruption.

For many years I’ve been doing this the old-fashioned way. I go to the Windows 10, 11 site and I download the Media Creation Tool, create an USB installation stick, and boot to the stick. I delete all of the partitions an reinstall the OS from scratch. There is an easier way!

Ever since Windows 8 there has been a way to reset your computer without all of the hassle. Reset this PC will restore your computer to it’s pure state, minus all of that crapware that came on your PC. Clean Windows and drivers is all you get if that is what you want. Go to:

1. Hit the Windows key and type “reset” and hit “enter”.
2. Click “Get started.”
3. Click “Keep my files.”
4. Click “Local reinstall.”
5. Click “Change settings.”
6. Switch “Restore preinstalled app to “No”.
7. Click “Confirm” and Windows will begin resetting your PC.

Nothing is better than a fresh installation of Windows without the worry infection and other issue that can plagued a computer.
