Chrome OS Flex is a fast, secure, cloud-first, easy-to-manage operating system for Macs and PCs. It is designed to refresh older devices, increasing their performance for more efficient teaching and learning.
Chrome OS Flex is an operating system base in Linux and the Chrome web-browser. Just like Chromebooks but you can install Flex on your PC or Mac.
Many of the applications are Google apps, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and others.
Not only Google apps but all of the Microsoft’s Live.com apps: Outlook Mail, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive.

You can use any cloud applications. You can even run a virtual PC via the cloud.
Chrome OS Flex is super secure because it is at its core a Linux which the user does not have access to the administrator. Also Chrome’s Sandbox architecture prevents any security leaks.
To install Chrome OS Flex you need a computer with the minimum specs of 4 Gigabytes of RAM, and 16 Gigs of storage. Some older PCs 2010 or before may have graphics issues.
