Linux is mostly virus free so it’s more secure. Linux works with few processes in the background so your computer runs faster. Unlike Windows and the Macintosh all of the software is updates through the operating systems update manager so your always up to date with the latest security patches. Unlike Windows the Linux usually comes with much of the software you might want to use pre-installed.
