Chromebooks and Linux computers are great but they are not for everyone. If you are a professional graphical artist and the firm you work for uses PhotoShop you will need a PC or Mac for that. If your firm uses Adobe Premiere to edit video than you need Windows. Many serious amateur and professional photographers use LightRoom a program to manage photos on Windows and Mac. Microsoft Office for Windows is the default for most businesses. If you haven’t a need for these professional applications you maybe able to do without Windows entirely.
