Skype for Web Beta is a web-browser version of its very popular VOIP / chat service. I’ve been waiting for a Skype client that I can use with my Chromebook. Now I can use Skype on my Chromebook or any computer. The reason Microsoft has done this is, they needed a Skype app for their “Modern User Interface” which are mostly cloud applications.
