The infamous Flash Player that has been around for 24 years is no more. Adobe has stopped it’s development and all of the major browsers have ended support for it.

Before Flash the in 1996 there webpages were stagnant, with text and pictures only. Flash made the web come to life with animation and video.

In 1996 a company called Macromedia brought into popularity after acquiring FutureWave Software is creator, for probably some crazy low price. Macromedia was purchased in 2005 by Adobe, obtaining all it’s software patience, including “Flash”.
