As I mentioned before, for most uses you don’t need a VPN (Virtual Private Network). HTTPS with AES will keep secret from everyone however your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will no what URL your going to. They will not know what your doing there. The popular VPN services like Nord, PIA, Express VPN and others are exaggerating the need for there service.

What is Tor?

If your still paranoid you can use Tor. Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against traffic analysis, a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security. Tor is so secure that the NSA has deemed it “a major treat to its mission”. What they meant to say is: major treat to its mission of spying on all of your stuff.

Tor has become easier than ever to use with because of the many tools provided by the Tor Project the easiest two being the Tor Browser or Brave Private with Tor (my personal favorite). Open the Brave browser, click on the menu, and New private window with Tor. Warning, Tor can be extremely slow.
