If you never got around to installing the free Windows 10 Upgrade I’ve got news. You can still get Windows 10 for free with no hack necessary. The trick is; when asked to enter product key skip it. Also when prompted to register don’t.  As the video below shows; there seems to be no repercussions to doing this except no personalizing themes,  no syncing your Microsoft account settings and there is a watermark in the lower right corner. You will still get all of the updates and there are no more limitations that I know. I don’t think there is an upgrade path here so back your data.

Will this last for ever? I don’t know. Is it worth taking the risk? I think so if you bold it is a great project for anyone with a spare PC they’re not using.
