Extend Your Home Network On The Cheap

TL-WPA4220KIT-02Do you have trouble getting the Internet in your home to where you need it? Did the cable guy put your modem in the basement where it is hard to get wireless and you don’t think you would be able to or don’t want to run ethernet cable to the other parts of your house. You are in luck! Powerline networking has come of age! It’s also cheap and easy to do! Powerline networking uses the electrical wiring in your how to transmit data. I’ve been using it for years with terrific results.

The folks at the TP-Link now have a powerline networking package TL-PA4010KIT. It that is easy to install works quite well and it is less than half the price of its nearest competitors. The kit comes with two units; one that connects to your gateway or router and the other that will plug into an electrical outlet elsewhere in your home that will provide you with ethernet and a wireless signal. The remote device can even clone your wireless network settings on your router so your devices will seamlessly transition from on to the other. One of the best things about it is the price, $39.99 from NewEgg at the time I am writing this post.
