In this post I have chosen some of my favorite software. All of it free of course! Much of this software is similar if not better than the commercial software you may be using. This software maybe open-source or not but it is all free to use. Mush of this software have versions for “Windows”, “Mac”, and “Linux”. You can get all of the programs for Windows at Ninite.

Firefox and Chrome
Firefox and Google Chrome are both very popular web-browsers. Firefox is an open-source program and Chrome is commercial software based on a open-source program called “Chromium”. I think Firefox might be faster in general and runs better on slower computers while Chrome is blazing fast at rendering JavaScript on computers with adequate hardware. For Windows , Mac and Linux.
