You may have heard that the upgrade to Windows 10 will be free for most users. The idea is to have everyone using the same operating system including tablet a Windows Phone users. Usually you get a new version of Windows when you get a new computer. With Windows 10 everyone with Windows 7 and up will see an icon in the system tray that ask you to reserve your copy. You can click on it and it will ask you to do just that. I think it will scan your computer to see if your computer is compatible and then registers your computer for the upgrade. I think what this app really does is it slowly uploads Windows 10 to your computer and then on July 29th (Windows 10 release date) it will install.
