The Chromebook and the Chromebox are computer that don’t do much more than web-applications. These computers are running the Chrome OS, not Windows. Chrome OS is a highly modified version of  Linux that most of it’s user interface is the chrome web-browser. there is no need for other programs because you use all web-applications.
