Chocolatey  is a Machine Package Manager, somewhat like apt-get in Ubuntu Linux, but built with Windows in mind. You can use Chocolatey to safely install free software in a command-line environment. There is up to 3719 free programs that can be installed using this fantastic utility. If you get tire of using the commandline you can install the Chocolatey GUI (graphical user interface).
